For the second consecutive year, Macalester golfer Jordan Matheson is selected as an individual to compete in next week's NCAA Div. III Women's Golf National Championships, being played at the PGA Village in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Jordan is one of only 6 individuals to compete in the Championships, which also includes 21 teams. Looking to improve on last year's 13th place finish, Jordan has elevated her game this spring, scoring in the 70's in her last 5 competitive rounds. After starting the spring season at the highly competitive Jekyll Island tournament with a tie for 17th, she came on strong winning her next outing at the Carleton Spring Invite

which consisted almost entirely of nationally ranked teams. Another strong finish of 5th place the following weekend in an even stronger field set up Jordan to be selected on Monday as the 5th of 6 individuals to compete.
Stay tuned starting Monday, May 11th as we travel to Florida in Jordan's quest for a top finish as she rounds out her collegiate career.
Until then~
